Patio fence Railing finished

Today I finished the fence railing so I can start on the fence board tomorrow. We are currently getting all the pieces of the puzzle together all in one spot. I've been looking on line a Natural Gas fire pit rings and what it take to put one together. I found a large planter saucer that we will use for the pit. I have seen many who are using this kind of thing for Natural gas fire pits and they have a good look so we are going to make one ourselves.
Here is the picture of the pit bowl I think we are going to use.

Concrete pour is finished

We got the concrete placed yesterday with the great weather we have been getting. Things went well and we placed 9 and a half yards finished , colored and stamped it. It'a always a good feeling to be out of the ground with a project and now on to more enjoyable things other than dirt and concrete.
Here are a few pictures.

Rebar for concrete placement in place.

The rebar for concrete placement is in place and the weather looks good for the next few days. We will be placing the concrete this coming thursday @ 8 am. There's no room for moving the concrete truck around the area to be poured. So we will have to wheel barrow it in place. It's going to be a bit of a chore as there are about 9 and 1/2 yards to place, color and finish.
Here are a few more pictures before we pour the concrete, showing the rebar installed on 3' centers and the gas pipe line installed where the fire pit will be placed.

Private Patio Picture up date

The month of April has been one of the wetest months one record. But this coming week we are to get some decent sunny weather, which we could really use. I need it for my concrete pour I want to get done this week and Larry needs it for his golfing... We all need some good weather here in Washington State.
Here are a few pictures of the recent work done to the private patio area.

Yesterday we removed the grass sod. Not easy work but important. Larry hauled it away by wheel barrow.
Here's a few pictures.

Raising up the grade for the private patio

The last few days I have been setting up and pouring concrete retaining walls to help bring the grade of the patio area up so we won't have to move so much dirt.
Still there will be dirt that has to be moved and the extra we have we will use in some of the land scaping.
Here are a few pictures taken as I work our way up to the best grade for this private area.
